Grade 5 Winter Vacation Homework

 

Hello students! You finally finished the semester and have a long break. Luckily, your teachers know how much you love to do homework. So don’t worry! We have assigned a winter vacation poster for you to do so that you can have lots of fun!

Homework Assignment:   Make a poster about carnival games.

Poster title: Name of the carnival game

(There are a lot of carnival games that make a carnival interesting and fun, e.g. coin toss, bounce house, dart..etc. Let’s find out more about them.)

Poster size: Make a poster on A3 size paper or bigger

 

Please follow the instructions carefully below:

Answer the following questions on your poster. Each Answer should include at least 3-4 sentences in neat and clear sections. Your poster must also include colorful pictures.

Part 1

The Carnival Game:

1.         Research:

l  Search for a carnival game that interests you. Look for pictures and descriptions to understand it better.

2.         Draw:

l  Create a colorful drawing of the carnival game you chose. Include important details, like the setup of the game, the materials used, and how it looks when being played.

3.         Writing

l  Write a short explanation about your chosen game. Be sure to include:

A)        How to Play: Describe the steps players need to follow to play the game.

B)        Rules: List the specific rules of the game, such as what players can and cannot do to win.

C)        Tips: Ways or advantages to win the game easily.

 

Be creative and neat with your drawing and writing. Show off your best work to share your project with your classmates when school starts again!
