Hi parents!
I saw that some books were not covered yet so I went ahead and covered the books with my own covers. Please ensure that everyone is signing the communication book. The school really demands this.
Journeys: In hardcover Journeys we read a story about two girls going to camp, unbeknownst to them that they are princesses.
In softcover Journeys, we read a story about two kids lying to get into a baseball game.
Math: We learned about rounding and estimation. This year's 5th graders are super smart. They all got it immediately!
Science: We started on the respiratory system. We will finish the self check next Thursday or Friday.
Grammar: We learned more about the present progressive vs present simple. We will have a quiz next Friday.
Have a good weekend even though it is only for one day!
