Overview of Week 16

 Hi parents

This week in grammar we started on Present Perfect Simple. We will have a grammar quiz on this next week.

In science, we finished Invertebrates and did the self check. Next week is Photosynthesis.

In math, we finished with division of fractions. 

In creative writing, we wrote an essay on how you would spent 9 million dollars.

In Journeys we read about James Forten and Nero Hawley, two men in the American Revolution.

Overview of Week 15

 Hi parents

For creative writing this week we wrote an essay about the advantages and disadvantages of public transportation.

For science, we finished with Invertebrates. We are still on self-check.

For math, we learned about multiplication of fractions. This was rather difficult for them.

For grammar, we finished uncountable and countable nouns. We had a quiz on Friday. 

For Journeys, we read about women in the American Revolution and how they helped in the fight.

Overview of week 14

 Hi parents

This week we read about King George and the American Revolution. They learned why the American people wanted to be independent. 

For creative writing, they wrote an essay describing a household item that they invented. They had to include some opinions and facts in the essay.

For science, we continued with Invertebrates.

For math, the students continued learning about adding and subtracting fractions.

For grammar, they started learning about countable and uncountable nouns. There will be a quiz next week.
